Nevatronix Laser’s flat sheet cutting cell is designed around the production realities of contract manufacturing: short setup, tight repeatability across long runs, and consistent edge quality across material grades. This page documents what the cell can do, how we hold tolerance, and the typical lead time from quote to first article.
Materials and capacity
The cell handles every common contract-manufacturing grade plus several less-common ones. The table below summarizes the capability envelope.
- Max thickness — mild steel
- 12mm
- Max thickness — stainless 304/316
- 6mm
- Max thickness — aluminum 5052
- 5mm
- Max thickness — brass
- 3mm
- Max thickness — copper
- 2mm
- Max sheet dimensions
- 1500 × 3000 mm
- Min hole diameter
- 1mm
- Position tolerance
- ±0.05mm
- Cutting power
- 3kW
Quality and documentation
Every production lot ships with a first-article inspection report. PPAP (level 1 through 4) is available for regulated industries — currently in use across our financial technology and aerospace prototyping customer base. CMM inspection of critical features is performed in-house and on request.
Typical use cases
Flat sheet laser cutting is the entry point for most assembly-bound parts: chassis, enclosures, brackets, panels. Many parts continue from this cell to our sheet metal forming line for bending, welding, and finish — Nevatronix Laser and Nevatronix Sheet Metal are co-located, eliminating freight delays between operations.
